Saving recipes

Where can I import recipes from?

From most recipe websites and from TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. Share the link to ThymeBlock from the app you're in, or paste it. Recipe sites arrive with ingredients, steps and photo; TikTok is read from the caption and the spoken transcript, Instagram and YouTube from the post's text. If a video's text has no recipe, or the platform won't show us the video, ThymeBlock says so rather than guessing.

How do I save a recipe from TikTok?

Tap Share on the video and choose ThymeBlock. The import opens right there; a few seconds later the recipe is in your box. The first time, ThymeBlock may be under More in the share sheet; once you've used it, it stays in the list.

Is there a limit on imports?

On Part Thyme (free), imports come from a balance: you start with a small allotment and each short ad you watch adds more; nothing resets or expires. Full Thyme and Prime Thyme import without ads.

Planning the week

Do I have to plan every meal?

No. Pick how much to plan each week (Just dinners, Lunch and dinner, or Hit my macros for the full day), and skip any day you want. Eating out Wednesday? Leave it off and ThymeBlock plans around your schedule.

How does the weekly planning work?

Each week you pick a goal and the days you cook. ThymeBlock builds the plan and uses leftovers to cover the days in between, while food stays fresh.

What are cook days?

The days you actually cook. Pick two, three, whatever your week allows; ThymeBlock plans meals on those days and covers the others with leftovers, sized so nothing sits too long.

Do I have to count calories?

No. You never log food. If you choose Hit my macros, a quick setup sets your target and the planner builds every meal to hit it. The simple modes skip targets altogether.

How is my calorie and macro target set?

A few quick questions (your details and goal) turn into a daily calorie and macro target. Set it once; ThymeBlock reuses it every week and you can change it any time.

Grocery list

How does the grocery list work?

Any set of recipes becomes one list: the week's plan, or recipes you add to the list yourself. It's grouped by aisle so you walk the store once, on every plan, and you tick items off as you shop.

Nutrition

Where does the nutrition come from, and how accurate is it?

Per-serving calories, protein, carbs and fat are calculated from public food data (USDA), matched to each ingredient and amount, so it reflects real measurements rather than a guess. If an amount is missing, the recipe is labelled as an estimate until you fill it in. Every recipe you save gets nutrition, on every plan.

Do I need to log what I eat?

No. Nutrition sits on the recipe and on the plan; when you follow the plan, the day already adds up. There is nothing to log.

Pricing and account

Is ThymeBlock free?

Yes. Part Thyme is free: import recipes, keep your recipe box, plan your week by hand and shop from a basic grocery list, with ads. Full Thyme ($3.99/mo) removes ads. Prime Thyme ($9.99/mo) adds the automatic weekly planner, macro targets, cook days with leftovers, and the week's grocery list written for you.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Each paid plan starts with a free week, handled by Apple: you see it on the purchase sheet, and it converts to the plan's price unless you cancel before the week is up. One free week per Apple ID.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. The paid plans (Full Thyme and Prime Thyme) are monthly subscriptions in the iOS app, and you can cancel whenever you like.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings, then Account, then Delete account. It's immediate and permanent, and removes your recipes and plans.

Do you sell my data?

No. We don't sell personal information and we don't record your sessions. The privacy policy at thymeblock.com/privacy says exactly what is collected and why.
